Ingredient Selection
Many expecting moms are concerned about what they put on their skin during pregnancy. We are too. That's why we go to great lengths to select ingredients that are safe, mild, effective, and suitable for our customers.
All ingredients are thoroughly investigated before use in our formulations. Databases of safety information such as Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR), Personal Care Products Council (PCPC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and others are researched. We also consult regularly with highly qualified physicians regarding use and safety of ingredients.
Skin & Breast Care
Because our skin care products are free of harsh chemicals, they are ideal for breast care during pregnancy and while nursing.
Vanicream™ Cleansing Bar, that contains Vanicream™ Skin Cream, is a fragrance-free, non-soap bar that gently cleanses and helps keep nipples from drying and cracking.
Moisturize daily with Vanicream™ Skin Cream to help keep nipples in good condition and healthy.
Fragrance-free
Read our labels. When we say 'fragrance-free', we mean 'free of fragrance'. We don't mask color or its natural smell with ingredients that could be irritating.
Gluten-free
All of our products have been tested to be gluten-free.
Paraben-free
Our products are paraben-free and formaldehyde-free.
Physician Recommended
Our skin and hair care products are highly recommended by dermatologists, allergists, and pediatricians. You'll find them in your pharmacy, but they're over-the-counter (OTC) products so you don't need a prescription.
We know how important your children are and if you have doubts about what skin care products are safe to use, always ask your pediatrician.
Kid-friendly
We're adding our 'kid friendly' symbol to our product labels to help you identify which skin and hair care products are safe for kids. Until the new labels hit the store shelves, check the product information pages on our website and look for the symbol.
